This is a massive week for everyone at the football club and they should be relishing the challenges ahead.
Philippe Clement and the players face Real Betis in the Europa League and they need a positive result.
That game has to be the only focus and minds can't wander to the League Cup Final on Sunday against Aberdeen.
It will be interesting to see what Philippe does with the starting line-up for the tie in Seville.
I think he has to go with the strongest possible team. I wouldn't be resting any players with the game at Hampden in mind.
Playing for Rangers is all about delivering success and this is the kind of week every player should want to be involved.
In the past seven years, we haven't won enough silverware. Two trophies isn't acceptable.
We now have a chance to change that and add the first one available of the campaign.
It would give everyone a massive lift.
We then need to keep our League form going and it could be that we go to Parkhead on
December 30th knowing that a win will take us top of the table.
That would be a brilliant achievement.
If we managed to get in front at that stage, I think we'd show the right mentality to keep it going all the way.
However, it is one step at a time and we need to remember that nothing has been achieved yet.
But it does start this week and it's a chance to put down a proper marker.
We have found a nice rhythm and it's great to see Abdallah Sima scoring goals again.
I think he has really good composure in the final third for one so young.
It was also heartening to see Cyriel Dessers scoring against Dundee on Saturday.
With Danilo out injured, it's vital that all players step up to the mark and produce the goods.
I wish the manager and the players the very best of luck this week. I have a good feeling that everything is going to work out well.
