Right now, all that matters is that we win games of football.

If we can do it by three or four goals, all the better. But it's points on the board we need.

The 3-1 victory against Ross County was a lovely three points to get. Had we won by one more goal we would be top of the League. But it just wasn't to be.

However, we can take comfort from the amount of chances we created - 23 in total.

County goalkeeper, George Wickens, made 19 saves, and I'm told that's a record for any keeper in the SPFL Premiership since it began in 2013.

So, on another night we would have got five or six goals.

But our time is coming, I really believe that. Under Philippe Clement, we look the part.

We now must get ready for the game at St Johnstone on Sunday and that will be a tough fixture. Craig Levein will have his team well organised defensively and really stuffy. They also have goal threats in their side.

We need to be really focused in defence and stop them from gaining momentum.

It was good to see John Souttar get on the scoresheet. His header at the back post for the third goal was a well executed finish.

The cross came from James Tavernier and Connor Goldson was also involved in the build-up. Nice to see the defenders doing their bit in the final third.

Cyriel Dessers also scored a double and I was really pleased for him.

He also missed a couple of really good opportunities when it was 1-0 but he never let his head go down.

That shows a really strong mentality and willingness to fight. Some players may have hid, but not Cyriel.

Clearly, he is up for the challenges ahead in the coming weeks and months. He will have an important part to play as we chase more silverware.
