After the result and performance against PSV in the 2-2 draw, Michael Beale can go to Holland for the return leg feeling positive.

This time last year we went to Eindhoven with the same score from the first leg and won 1-0, thanks to a goal from Antonio Colak.

Colak became a hero that night and more than paid back his £2.2million transfer fee there and then. That goal was worth around £25million.

It is now up to someone new to emerge and become a matchwinner for the club to get us into the Champions League group stages.

On Tuesday night, Abdallah Sima scored the first goal with a beautiful strike. It was in the top corner and gave the keeper no chance.

Rabbi Matondo scored the other goal and that was also an impressive strike. Rabbi has emerged again in the past couple of weeks and has been displaying a really good attitude to be a part of the plans.

So, whether it's Abdallah, Rabbi, Cyriel Dessers, Sam Lammers or Jose Cifuentes, we need someone to step up and become a matchwinner.

They are playing for a massive football club and Wednesday night in Eindhoven would be the perfect time to deliver something extra special.

Jack Butland will also be important next midweek. I have every confidence in him. I thought he was brilliant in the second leg against Servette.

At certain stages, he will need to make big saves against my former club. He can do it. It's a game I'm really looking forward to and it will take an exceptional performance for Rangers to go through.

I said last week that I made PSV slight favourites and I believe that is still the case. They have quality players in key areas and they have the capabilities to hurt any opponent. But they are beatable. Peter Bosz will demand they are on the attack next week and take the game to Rangers. Michael will have a plan, I'm sure, for that scenario and it's up to the players to follow his instructions and overall strategy on the night.

The Champions League is where we want to be and the next 90 minutes will determine whether we are part of it, or not.

I wish everyone the best of luck and only a solid team performance from Rangers will give the club a chance of going through.
