The most important thing after a defeat is not to feel sorry for yourself. Sure, it was a crushing blow to lose to Celtic on Sunday but there is still so much left to play for. There needs to be positivity.

On Thursday we are in the quarter-final of the Europa League and travel to play Sporting Braga. This is a massive game and if we can bring back a good result then it will set us up for the second leg at Ibrox.

Giovanni and the players are on the verge of something very special and we need to be fully focused on the next 90 minutes. That's why we need to get last weekend out of our minds. There is nothing we can do about it now. But we can control what happens against Braga. We must remember that there is so much left to play for.

We have a Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden to look forward to.

This season can still work out very well for the Football Club. There are twists and turns still to come, believe me. Let's not rush to make any judgments right now. Let's see how things are at the end of May. That is the time for a proper assessment.

That's why Giovanni will have been telling the players to lift their heads and concentrate on Braga.

During my career I was on the end of defeats and the worst thing was to let it get into your head. You had to show a strong mentality to recover and show the right mindset. That's what I expect to see from James Tavernier and the players in the next few weeks. And it starts this midweek.

I know we miss Alfredo Morelos but here is nothing we can do about that. We will welcome him back when he is fit and available. It's about getting behind the players who are fit to play. They need the backing of the supporters more than ever right now.

So, stay positive and stay together. We were all hurting after Sunday but we must move on. Get behind Giovanni and the players and that will give the team a much better chance of getting a good result on Thursday.
