Rangers need to take control of the game on Saturday as quickly as possible and silence the home crowd. Playing in front of 60,000 Celtic supporters is not going to be easy but it should be a task every single player relishes.

I'd expect all of the squad to be at their very best in training all week to impress Michael Beale. They should be desperate to be given the nod to start in this game as a victory will keep the title hopes alive, albeit I accept the chances of winning the title are slim.

However, we are talking about an Old Firm fixture and they are always hugely important. I believe we are a talented team and we have some very good players. But this is also about a strong mentality.

You need to have the full package to beat Celtic.

We need to be calm and focused and able to cope with the pressure of when Celtic have possession and they are in the final third of the pitch. When we have the ball, our passing has to be accurate and crisp. We can't have any slackness. If we are in form then we can win this game.

I'm looking to Malik Tillman to keep up his recent displays. He has played with confidence and maturity. He has also scored goals. He has been a very good signing for us and I hope the deal can become permanent in the summer. Let's wait and see how that all unfolds.

It's not been any surprise to me has been one of our best players this season. He impressed me from very early on.

I was also aware of him from a couple of years back when I was scouting for AZ Alkmaar in Germany and he was playing for Bayern Munich.

It was a youth tema game and I made a note of his name. He was one to watch. That's why I was delighted when Giovanni van Bronckhorst signed him on loan last summer. I expect him to start on Saturday and we will need every player hungry and determined from the first whistle.

We didn't start well enough in the League Cup Final at Hampden Park in February and we paid the ultimate price for that.

We can't allow that to happen again and it is up to us to put pressure on Celtic as quickly as we can and take our chances when they come to us.
